Triquetrahedron

The Triquetrahedron draws inspiration from the clarity and restraint of Bauhaus design, particularly the hanging lamp by Marianne Brandt, where simple geometry and material efficiency define both form and function. Building on this foundation, the project reinterprets modernist simplicity through the integration of a culturally meaningful ornament, the Triquetra.

The design centers on the Triquetra, a Welsh Celtic symbol representing interconnectedness and continuity as well as mind, body, and soul; past, present, and future.

Rather than being applied as surface decoration, the Triquetra becomes the structural and functional foundation of the piece. Repeated and interwoven, the symbol forms a unified geometric pattern that shapes the light itself.
