Seasonal rest stop for Ramsey Lake skating trail incorporating reused hockey stick. Inspired by the Canadian Shield.
Concept
The form is derived from Sudbury’s official city logo, creating a structure that responds to wind direction while offering various seating and shelter conditions. Visually inspired by Northern Ontario’s landscape.
Material reuse informs both structure and identity, embedding local culture directly into the construction.
